Personal vs Business hosting explained
With Business Shared Hosting, you enjoy truly dedicated resources thanks to the use of CloudLinux. This means that your website has exclusive resources, ensuring consistent performance regardless of the activity of other websites on the server. The resources allocated to you are always available for your website, offering speed, reliability, and an excellent user experience. At the same time, security is guaranteed, as each account operates in an isolated environment, protecting your website at every level.
On our personal hosting, you can have unlimited mailboxes of up to 1GB each, and you can send 100 emails per hour per cPanel account. On our Business hosting, there are no mailbox size limits and you can send 1000 emails per hour per account. Unsolicited or bulk mail is always prohibited.
Personal Hosting provides up to 2GB RAM and 2 vCPUs per account, which is sufficient for small to medium-sized websites. Business Hosting, however, supports up to 4GB RAM and 4 vCPUs, offering greater performance for resource-intensive applications and larger websites..
Both Personal and Business Hosting plans come with the cPanel control panel, making website management simple and intuitive. They include an advanced hosting stack featuring automated backups, one-click software installers, and malware protection. Both environments are user-friendly, requiring no technical expertise, and are fully supported by our expert support team.
Business Hosting includes a 99.95% uptime guarantee. This means that if your website experiences more than 45 minutes of avoidable downtime within a month, you will receive a credit equivalent to one week’s hosting cost. Personal Hosting offers a 99.90% uptime guarantee, allowing up to 1.5 hours of downtime per month. If this threshold is exceeded, you will be credited with one day’s hosting cost.
Your business, our responsibility
As soon as you acquire your HOSTDOG hosting plan, you can issue a ticket, within your client area, and request a transfer. We will migrate your existing site safely and free of charge at a time that is suitable for you.
You can easily upgrade your hosting plan, without experiencing any downtime, from the services management within the HOSTDOG client area.
If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your HOSTDOG shared hosting service, you can cancel it free of charge within the first 30 days, and get you money back.
If you don’t know how many visitors your website will have, we recommend that you choose either the Economy or Budget hosting plan. If later you ascertain that your website’s traffic is high, you can easily and instantly upgrade your hosting plan to one that suits your needs.
All of HOSTDOG’s shared hosting plans have a minimum duration of 12 months.
You can login to your cPanel control panel immediately after you have completed your order. Your service will be activated automatically and your login credentials will be mailed to you.
HOSTDOG’s services are specifically designed and optimized for hosting websites. Therefore it is not allowed to be used for file sharing, streaming, cryptocurrency mining, or for hosting any kind of copyrighted content whatsoever.
