date

Using the console (terminal) execute the commands below:

ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Athens /etc/localtime
export TZ=Europe/Athens

Change the above to your timezone. Supported timezones:

Check the time with the following command:

date

Change the hardware clock:

hwclock --systohc

Check the hardware clock

hwclock --show
